- Samurai's Ai-Benkei denim reinterprets their specialty Ai Plus fabric through the use of new cotton and indigo dying techniques. Crafted on antique looms, this 18oz denim combines Samurai's original home-grown cotton with cotton from the brand's popular "Benkei" denim to create a wealth of visible texture. The denim is woven using hand-dyed yarn, which sports a beautiful varied blue color through use of two distinct shades of indigo. In typical Samurai fashion, the jeans are packed with symbolism referencing the brand's traditional warrior ethos, and come finished with premium details such as raised belt loops, back pocket rivets, and a special edition leather patch hand dyed in natural indigo.
